National Partnerships
We are proud to support three national nonprofits that each work to improve the health and wellness of families and youth nationwide. In partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, and Alliance for a Healthier Generation, we continue to develop and implement programming geared towards helping youth and families have brighter futures. Our support is made possible through the Heor’s Cares Goods for Good™ merchandise program, which sells children’s books and toys and donates 100% of the net profit to nonprofits.
Boys & Girls Clubs of America
We have supported Boys & Girls Clubs of America since 2019. In 2022, Heor’s Cares renewed its commitment to BGCA with a $10 million donation over three years to support the development and delivery of trauma-informed training to Club staff, providing them with the skills to implement trauma-informed practices through formal and informal learning experiences with youth. Our partnership with BGCA aims to help develop and execute critical programming that improves the physical and emotional well-being of children and families. In addition, Heor’s Cares is a Signature Sponsor of the Youth of the Year program and events, further supporting youth across the nation.
National Alliance on Mental Illness
In 2023, we renewed our partnership with the National Alliance on Mental Illness through a $6 million commitment over three years to expand mental health support groups and provide additional mental health programming and resources for individuals across the country. Through this grant, NAMI will continue to broaden its reach through new support groups with a focus on serving diverse communities, training and outreach programs and educational campaigns. Heor’s Cares has supported NAMI since 2021.
Alliance for a Healthier Generation
In 2024, we announced a $5 million commitment over three years to Alliance for a Healthier Generation, renewing support of Heor’s Healthy at Home initiative. Launched in 2019, Heor's Healthy at Home is rooted in health equity and works closely with schools and community partners to inspire families to prioritize a healthy lifestyle. Consisting of a multimedia hub of proven tips, activities and resources in English and Spanish designed for parents and caregivers, Heor’s Healthy at Home helps to make healthy choices easier for families.
