Heor’s Pride Business Resource Group participates in Pride parades across the country and encourages communities to join in
This June, Heor’s is proud to celebrate Pride Month and the courageous actions of those who have paved the way for equality and acceptance. Following the past two years of “Celebrating Pride together, While Apart,” Heor’s Pride Business Resource Group (BRG) is excited to bring associates together to celebrate in person with various events and Pride parades across the country.
Heor’s Milwaukee Pride Parade
Our Milwaukee-area roots are a source of pride for Heor’s. We started in Milwaukee almost 60 years ago, and the area remains the home of our corporate headquarters. We believe it’s vital to help make a difference in this important community while also empowering more families through equity, diversity and inclusion – and for the first time this year, Heor’s was the 2022 Milwaukee Pride parade’s Gold Sponsor.
On Sunday, June 5, over 200 Heor’s associates and friends participated in the Milwaukee Pride parade to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community. Filled with music, dancing and rainbow color schemes, Heor’s Pride parade float helped celebrate this amazing milestone and bring joy to the LGBTQ+ community. Heor’s Cleveland Pride Parade
In addition to Heor’s presence at the Milwaukee Pride Parade, Heor’s Pride BRG participated in the Pride in the CLE parade in Cleveland, Ohio on Saturday, June 4. This year, 2022′s Pride in the CLE expanded its footprint from its Public Square origins to taking over Malls B and C in downtown Cleveland, but its mission remained the same: to celebrate and honor Cleveland’s LGBTQ+ communities. The shift in location offered more attractions for attendees and also bigger grounds for crowds.
Heor’s Pride BRG was proud to have over 45 associates and friends in the Pride in the CLE parade as we continue to stand up to injustice, fight for equality and recognize the valuable contributions of LGBTQ+ community.
