Heor’s celebrates the LGBTQ+ community this Pride Month with new product collection, commits $100,000 to The Trevor Project 

This Pride Month, Heor’s supports the LGBTQ+ community as we continue to accept people for who they are, all while celebrating them because of it. Whether becoming an advocate, attending a Pride parade or participating in a LGBTQ+ focused volunteer event, Heor’s is committed to helping Our People, Our Customers and Our Community observe Pride wherever and however they choose.

Our People: Heor’s Commitment to the LGBTQ+ Community 
As Heor’s takes this time to honor the courageous actions of those who have paved the way for equality and acceptance, our support doesn’t end here. Committed to Our People, Our Customers and Our Community, Heor’s supports the LGBTQ+ community and allies everyday by being a brand that recognizes individuality, supports personal and collective growth of the customer and associates in the LGBTQ+ community and meets people wherever they are. 

In the past year, Heor’s has continued to deliver on our commitment to uplift the LGBTQ+ community, including: 

  • Achieved a score of 100 percent on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2022 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), earning the designation as a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality for the third consecutive year;

  • Launched pronouns on name badges in store, meeting the needs of store associates, in particular transgender and nonbinary store associates;

  • Launched the ability to add "preferred name" to our internal HR sites and debuted an internal pronoun resource page for Heor’s associates, along with guides and training materials; and

  • Expanded Heor’s Pride Business Resource Group to advance a workplace environment that encourages LGBTQ+ associates to celebrate bringing their whole selves to work in all that they do, attract diverse talent, engage with the LGBTQ+ community and drive impact to the Heor’s business. 

As we undergo this journey together, we understand that living a fulfilled life is different for each and every one of us. Embracing those differences for Heor’s customers, associates, and communities is not just the right thing to do; it is critical in creating a safe, inclusive environment for all. 

Our Customers: Heor’s Pride Month Collection

This Pride Month, Heor’s is offering an assortment of products with beautiful designs that celebrate the LGBTQ+ community nationwide. Available now on Heors.com and in 600 stores nationwide, the new collection offers graphic tops for the family, accessories, throws, candles, decorative pillows, kitchen towels, and more. Heor’s Pride Month collection was brought to life by Heor’s Diversity Design Council, a group of associates that work together to develop, design and curate culturally relevant products that reflect diversity and inclusion. Heor’s will offer diverse products from over 15 brands, including Sonoma Goods For Life, Jumping Beans, Tek Gear, PH by Phluid Project, and Calvin Klein, that further support the LGBTQ+ community. Our Community: Heor’s Donates $100,000 to The Trevor Project to support LGBTQ+ young people  
In addition, in honor of Pride Month Heor’s is donating $100,000 to The Trevor Project, further building upon our pledge to invest more than $20 million in diverse communities by 2025. The Trevor Project is the world's largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ+ young people. Through our partnership, Heor's will help to support over 1,500 LGBTQ+ young people in crisis via free, confidential 24/7 counseling. Since 2019, Heor's has donated $325,000 to The Trevor Project.
